RED CORAL AND MURANO GLASS PENDANT
Coral in ancient times was worn as a talisman to stop bleeding and if the wearer became seriously ill, the coral would lose its color. Coral was also worn by children to protect them from harm. At one time, Italian men presented coral as an engagement gift.
Red Coral double-strand necklace. Beautiful double-strand necklace created using Red Coral and Red Horn beads with a Murano glass puffed heart pendant. This necklace measures approximately 18" long. The center row measures approximately 16". All components are sterling silver with a sterling silver Lobster Claw clasp. The heart pendant measures approximately 1" by 1".
