Amethyst - the stone of royalty and spirituality.
In ancient times, the Amethyst stone was believed to prevent drunkenness, protected the wearer against evil and brought good luck. Also believed to cure headaches when rubbed across the forehead. The birthstone for January 20 - March 20.


Ruth created this beautiful 16" necklace using faceted Briolette and round Amethyst stones. There are eight Briolette Amethyst gemstones. The Sun Stone pendant measures approximately 1-1/2" long x 1" wide (not including bale). All components are sterling silver including the toggle clasp closure.
